McCool Junction Fall Activity Guidelines

COVID 19 

 

Football (Players and Coaches):

 

Risk Dial Green or Yellow:

All players will have their own water bottle and towel that will be marked with their name on it.

All players will social distance as much as possible on the sidelines.

The football will be sanitized throughout the game.

No shaking hands before or after the game.

Sanitizer and cleaning supplies will be placed on both sidelines.

Meals served to away teams will consist of pizzas for them to take on the bus.

McCool athletes must wear masks on the bus to all away games.

Each team will dress and shower in their respective locker rooms.

Officials will have their own locker room and shower.

Locker rooms will be disinfected before and after the game.

 

Risk Dial Orange:

Participation when the Risk Dial is in the Orange will be determined game by game for the safety of our students and assessing the Community Spread concerns.

 

Football (Spectators):

 

Risk Dial Green or Yellow:

Visiting fans will come through the West Gates and occupy the West Side of the football field.

Home fans will come through the East Gates and occupy the East Side of the football field.

Social Distancing will be encouraged when getting concessions and using restrooms.  

There will be an additional concession stand on the West Side for visiting fans.

All concession food will be individually wrapped – which could limit offerings.  Servers at the concession stand will be required to wear masks and gloves. 

Porta Potties will be provided for visiting fans on the West Side of the field.

All home games will be telecast on Striv so fans can watch from home.

No Pep Band will be permitted to play.

Cheerleaders will be allowed for home and visiting teams.

75% Capacity – we will allow spectators since we can safely social distance around our field.

 

Risk Dial Orange:

Limit the number of fans in attendance.  Each participant will get a certain number of tickets to hand out.  Both home and away participants will get an equal number of tickets per participant.

 

Junior High Football

 

*We will not be providing locker rooms for Junior High visiting football teams. 

Volleyball (Players and Coaches)

 

Risk Dial Green and Yellow:

 

All players will have their own water bottle and towel that will be marked with their name on it.

Social distancing will be practiced as much as possible.

No spectators will be allowed to sit behind the benches

Hand Sanitizer will be placed at both benches.

The ball will be disinfected during time outs.

Teams will stay on the bench assigned to them for the first set.

No shaking hands before or after the game.

Each team will be assigned their individual locker room when playing triangular.

Locker rooms will be disinfected before and after the game.

Bench area will be disinfected between games for triangular games.

Masks are not going to be required for players during play. We do not have air conditioning in our gym.

Everyone at the score table will be required to wear a mask.

McCool athletes must wear masks on the bus to all away games.

 

Volleyball (Spectators):

 

Risk Dial Green or Yellow:

All fans will come through the North Gym Doors.

Visiting fans will sit on the North Side of the gym.

Home fans will sit on the South Side of the gym.

Social Distancing will be encouraged when getting concessions and using restrooms.  McCool Fans will be encouraged to use the cafeteria restroom – visiting fans will use gym restrooms.

All concession food will be individually wrapped – which could limit offerings.  Servers at the concession stand will be required to wear masks and gloves.

All home games will be telecast on Striv so fans can watch from home.

Fans will be encouraged to wear masks in the gym.

No Pep Band will be permitted to play or cheerleaders from home or visiting teams.

50% Capacity - which will allow us to have 200 people in attendance.

Junior High Volleyball

 

*We will not be providing locker rooms for Junior High visiting volleyball teams. 

 

Cross Country (Runners and Coaches)

 

Risk Dial Green and Yellow:

 

All runners will have their own water bottle and towel with their name on it.

Teams will line up at the start with six feet separating each team.

Social distancing will be practiced as much as possible.

Runners will be asked to move through the finish shoot as quickly as possible.

We are asking that each team have a designated person at the finish to help with their runners. 

 

Cross Country (Spectators):

 

Risk Dial Green or Yellow:

Fans will be asked to social distance from runners throughout the race.

Fans will be asked to keep their distance from the start and finish of the race.
